Some of the larger fish would swim away from the crowded areas of the other smaller whale sharks. Few of the sharks were seen in very deep water. Our boat captain stated that at night time the fish would swim and feed on the Notrth shore of the Gulf of Tadjoura, but during the day they were found on the southern portion near Arta Plage feeding.
