Additional comments:
I saw 4-5 whale shark from the 8th Oct. - 10th Oct. 2016 in Gorontalo / North Sulawesi.
2 yrs ago, there were many more. The spot is located directly at a now closed shrimp fabric where all the organic waste was led into the ocean, the animals were attracted. But now, due to non-ecological behavior and due to disturbing or even harming the whale sharks by the locals and tourists, they disappeared. Only Few came back to this site.
Please refer my name when using the pictures.
And I would love to name the sharks if they are not named so far! :)
